Hey Backers,
As promised, here is an update on our progress with Sated RTD. And at the end, you’ll also see the updated checklist.
What’s the expected shipping date?
The new expected manufacturing date is week of 10/7 (from week of 9/23) which means the new expected ship date is 10/28 (from 10/18).
What did we move forward?
Our last shipment of ingredients arrived last Wednesday.
All internal and external packaging is finished and ready to go into print pending approval from the manufacturer’s compliance department.
State regulators were in the manufacturing facility Friday, and we are anticipating their response this week.
We’re still waiting on the manufacturer’s R&D and compliance departments final approval of our formula. The current ETA on that is between 8/30 and 9/4.
We will know more and update you again this time next week!

As promised, here is an update on our progress with Sated RTD. In the next post, you’ll see the updated checklist.
What’s the expected shipping date?
As of today, the new expected manufacturing date is week of 9/23 which we are interpreting as 9/27 (was 9/12-9/13) which means the new expected ship date is 10/18.
We are having a scheduling meeting tomorrow at 9:30am, and expect to have a formula review meeting this week. The formula review meeting is required before we can order our packaging.
It is still anticipated that the line will be approved by state regulators for commercial production by the end of the month.
What did we move forward?
We’ve finalized branded shipping box designs and are submitting them to press very soon.
We’ve completed an exhaustive internal review of the label and nutrition in preparation of the review meeting with the manufacturer.
13 of our ingredients were delivered to the manufacturer, 4 ingredients are in the local area staged for delivery (with 72 hours notice), and we’re only waiting on 1 more shipment to be delivered (which is expected this Wednesday).
We’re still waiting on the manufacturer’s R&D and compliance departments final approval of our formula. The current ETA on this is between 8/21 and 8/28.

Hey Backers,
We are very close to shipping, but have encountered another setback that is moving our estimated delivery date back. Our current ETA for ship date is October 7th. Going forward, we will be updating you weekly on our progress. Our high level checklist is at the bottom of this message and will be updated each week with an updated ETA on ship date.
What’s the holdup?
The current critical block is state regulators in Wisconsin approving the manufacturing line for commercial production. The line has already passed extensive testing by our manufacturing partner and the manufacturer of the aseptic machines, but until the state gives their sign off we can’t make product to give to you. This is a standard part of installing a new food manufacturing line.
We’re also waiting on the manufacturer’s R&D and compliance departments to give their final stamp of approval on our formula, this is expected mid next week. We’ve run our formula through two aseptic lines without any problems, so we don’t expect any issues here. This is also standard practice for the manufacturer to double check the formula internally and adjust the process documents to their specific machinery before going forward with a manufacturing run.
When will it ship?
It is reasonable to expect that the line will be approved for commercial manufacturing by the end of this month, and once it is, our product can run 2-4 weeks later. Once manufactured, the product has to sit for 15 days, after which time we can send it to our warehouses (2-3 days) who will be setup in advance to start putting labels on packages. But depending on weekends and delivery time, it may take 2-3 more days for the product to be handed over to a mail carrier. Thus, the earliest your product can be shipping is Oct 7th.
